meanwhile, back at the ranch
I've received an unprecedented number of phone calls over the last few days. This is because we had an oral pathology exam (I got asked amyloid - for the win) and two or three essays due. For some reason, people feel the need to ring and tell me about it.

"You're so good," one of them sighed. "I can never study on weekends."

Study on weekends? I can't remember a time when I didn't study on weekends. As far as I'm concerned, that's what weekends are for. I love weekends because they're two days in which I have two twelve-hour stretches with no interruptions, no need to go anywhere or do anything except catch up on the week's work.

I'm such a loser.

(Although - I dyed my hair blue today. Maybe not irredeemably so?)

Back to my delightful essay on the use of ketamine in prolonging post-operative opioid analgesia, then.

Blue hair! Cool! Always wanted to do that, but was never in a position to do so due to having to be looking socially acceptable and all that... *rolls eyes*

Yikes.
What a horrible sentence.
I blame my non-native-tongue.

So'm I, but it's a sort of deep navy ... until I stand under a light. Heehee.

Someday I'll take a gap year and dye it PINK.

Yup, Gerard Way is the shit.

I envy you. Studying on weekends is almost impossible for me, except when there are exams coming up. How do you do it?

Yay for blue hair! Is it dark blue?

Because ... I kind of plan the year's study in the first week of term? And I allocate myself so much to do every day, every week, every month. It piles up if I don't do it and then I get stress tension.

Yup, practically black. It will fade to brown in approximately an hour, but I like it.

I'm such a loser.

That wasn't quite the phrase I was going to use. In fact, it had something more to do with OMG, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU HAVE SUCH LOVELY AND ENVIABLE DISCIPLINE!

Yeeees ... like Hitler, in a way.

Study? I can't remember a time when I studied! XD I've never actually taken a formal exam, as I dropped out of school in the first term of year 10. Not that I'm proud of that.

Blue hair! I've always wanted to do that, but my hair doesn't hold blue very well at all.

I started sometime in the equivalent of grade nine, and never managed to stop. I have a pretty obsessive personality - if it wasn't for studying, I probably would be an alcoholic or a drug addict or riddled with STDs by now.

Mine looks pretty much like icon!Gerard's right now, but in a week it'll be back to a nice, dark, if boring, brown.

I've had blue hair before. it's really fun. it's actually one of the easier colors to keep in your hair.
I also had put blue in after orange and came out with this really spiffing mint green color. I love the multiple colors for hair. i've had red, purple, red and purple, orange, mint, green, blue, and now like a hot purply pinkish color now. ^_^ it's really rather addicting.

:( I'm so jealous - I'd never get away with all those!

I've actually not had a lot of shock value for most of it. The most I got were some old ladies shaking their heads, and people saying they liked it. Lol.

I'm not a doctor though....I work retail. >
