ent, hee.
yea, go to sleep earlier as the person above me suggested.

which is hypocritical advice coming from me since i go to bed around 2-3am and wake up at 6:30am for work everyday.

but then you'd get sick and make your patients sick as well SO PLS DON'T DO THAT.

I don't think you can really get sick from lack of sleep? What most people do is just not turn up, which isn't an option for me. Sadly.

There is EVERYTHING wrong with that schedule.

Sometimes I'm very happy with my choice of careers, and then sometimes I remember that there will be entire years of being completely overworked at crazy times. /o\

This is why we get paid so much. Which is fortunate, as it's the only reason I chose this stupid career in the first stupid place.

Oof, 5am? Still, I can still probably beat that. My next rotation is Obs, where you go on call with your team, stay in 8am to 8pm and come in on weekends. Without the perk of, you know, getting money for it.

Meh, I should be okay. It's not like I have a reason to stay up late. The internet never really counts as a reason. They are welcome to assume I'm just stupid.
oopsoddishly on September 4th, 2008 10:27 pm (UTC)
Solution = CYCLE. 30 minutes less of travelling, plus 10 minutes less of drying hair after showering (it works, it works!) equals 40 MINUTES MORE IN BED. Win/win/win.

Also, annoying pedestrians is fun. :)

I have no bike, alas. Also, the hills involved would be pretty killer. On the other hand, I always wash my hair at night, so. :D

At least you'll be an early bird and witness teh nature and be inspired by beautiful sun rises when you walk out-of-doors...?

Oh god I knoooooooooooooow. And everyone in hospitals hates the medical students. I can understand why, but - it's not our fault! Honestly, given my druthers, I'd rather be in bed.

I'm not a big fan of ears, true, but eyes are the worst. The only time I've ever fainted was when watching LA injected into the conjunctiva. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWIE.

I ate a lunch on the back of proplus once. I don't think I'd ever take it. There's a reason you're tired; it's because you need sleep! I'll bring down the institution from within.
