every blooming thing
Today marked my last session of CBT. I will miss it, but I don't need it any more. Today I walked the streets in neon pink pumps, Roy Lichenstein print tights, a pink polka dot coat and a huge flower in my hair. (One cheeky man asked me if it grew straight out of my head. I said yes. He was so just jealous that he had no flower.) I could not have done that a year ago. I could not have done that six months ago. I think I've finally arrived. HI, ME. NICE TO MEET YOU AT LAST.

In celebration, have an acoustic version of Lying that I found while conducting an epic music battle on facebook:

It struck me as I clicked that OMG HOW CAN ANYONE PLAY THIS LIFE, MUCH LESS OFF THE CUFF, HOW EMBARRASSING. But Brendon really is a consumate performer. I love watching his hands. Plus bonus Pete, Ryan and Mark! There is no bad about this video. The only bad is that they haven't yet released an acoustic B-side of Lying. GET ON THAT PLEASE GUYS. MY BIRTHDAY, IT IS SOON.

Ooh, that sounds funky! Did you take a pic?

Yeah, I like that vid, it's cute. :D

I did on my phone, but I have not yet checked the quality. It is probably crap. No fear, I will be wearing it again soon! Possibly tomorrow.

Brendon is like a little kid who just discovered swearing, but WHOA TALENT. ;DDD

Ahaha, yes! He's pretty adorable there.

Holy crap, color me impressed. I don't really get into Panic all that often, but it's always impressive to me when a musician can do their songs acoustic like that. It's gorgeous!

(And okay, I was ridiculously charmed by the enormous bass + tiny boy combination.)

heehee, I'm glad to be of service in the world! And I know what you mean - it's a reason I stay away from live shows, usually, because I think so many artists require the synth backup they get in studio. Not Brendon!

You can imagine him swinging it around and going into hyperdrive and toppling over! Or, well. I can.

I'm a sucker for Brendon's voice in general, but it's especially nice in concert with goofing off and spur-of-the-moment musicianship. With bonus!reminiscing. :o) I also like the contrast between Brendon's comfortable competence and Ryan's neat, careful playing. (I could just be reading that into their body postures, but whatever.)

Your outfit sounds awesome. But the random annoying guy's comment makes me think of Daisy Head Maisy.

*flails*

This is one of the very first videos mrsquizzical showed me when she was tricking me into falling for bandom; 'not only is he a pretty face but he's an amazing musician!' - ugh, my ♥

Also, good for you! A girl's got to feel right in her own shoes.

Shoes! ♥_♥ And a flower-head! Snazzy :D

I'm gonna hold off on the vid, as I'm on an Empires kick. I think I would distress myself if I interrupted it, even if it is for Brendon!

THEY HAVE NEVER LOOKED PRETTIER. I particularly like the bit where Ryan's all "I can't believe you signed us. You're a retard", as well as the fact that Mark Hoppus is a closet Panic fan. \o/

Umm, I may be a little bit in love with that video. *goggles at teh pretty*

Though whenever they sing "harlequin girls" I think of harlequin babies and my mind becomes completely traumatized.

And your outfit sounds AWESOME.

...apparently I have to download a plugin to watch the video? T_T (what the hell? I could watch videos yesterday)

I like your outfit! I was/am so excited when multi-coloured jeans came into fashion. Now I can live like a rainbow. XD

To comment on your most recent post, seeing as it's locked - it's not a problem for me! And to be honest, anyone religious should have enough faith in their religion to not care if anyone thinks they're an idiot or not.

I have a very low opinion of a lot of people, and a lot of people get automatic hate from me. It's probably something I need to change about myself one day, but it's not at the very top of my list. Smokers are at the top of my hate list, followed by people who drive 4WDs in the city and suburbs, but never take them off-road.
