Transfusion Alternative Health Care - a scintillating read
Bloody, bloody FA. Their list of new fics has been skipped to March 22; Sob Story was uploaded March 18 and so won't get on the list at all. I was counting on that for some coverage, dammit. Sometimes I really hate my life and the fandom - and the fact that there's so little space between the two.

Oh, and an observation I meant to share before, for those of you who've read Going Postal; I think this entire fandom is like Stanley and his pins. I laughed when I thought of that first. Not so much, now.

Now, I'm bloody well going to watch bloody TV. Maybe if I watch enough, my brain will shrivel up like other people's and I won't have the urge or the power to write anything ever again, and all this angst will just stop happening. *kicks wall* And it's really bloody cold and why am I sitting here in just a jersey?

Also, I hate researching stupid portraiture in stupid art. I am highly doubtful of my abilites to tell a Velazquez from a Goya next week and yet I cannot be arsed to write down who painted what on my printouts, which are all grainy and crap because my mother uses her printer to pump out reams of stuff on Jehovah's Witnesses every night. For her course. Yay for her!!

*is getting hysterical* And you know what else? No one will employ me because instead of doing what I should have done in school - spend my weekends and holidays in quasi-legal, slave-labour underpaid employment - I studied. And I came out top of the freakin' class and now no one would employ me if I offered to work for free.

And...my hair is really frizzy and I have to straighten it because I have PIANO now, but before that, I have to cook SPAGHETTI.

So I'm going to go see how much more this day can suck in the next five hours.

Phew.

I was worried.

Oh, honey... I feel for you on the hair-which-needs-constant-straightening-in-order-not-to-be-ugly-as-arse front. I own that boat! I hope your day gets better, I really do! And your icon made me laugh hysterically for a good few minutes the first time I saw it - it gave me a special little bubble of joy, seeing it again today. :) Thank you.

Actually...my day didn't. Burnt the spaghetti, for one thing...

But iconlove is always good. Speaking of which -!

You know what you are experiencing? It is called A Bad Patch. More commonly known as The Hump. What you need to do, according to Sir Rudyard Kipling, is to "take a large hoe and a shovel also, and dig 'til you gently pespire".

I know, the weirdest people get knighted.

Clearly the most important thing is your hair. Is it straight? If not, then straighten it. Straight now? Good.

What I shall do for Sob Story is pimp it on my f-list (which is NOT identical to yours, damnit) and I won't tell anyone that DRACO DIES, so THAT'S all right.

Well, I'm going to get a job so that I can be exploited and be pathetically grateful for the spare change my employers fish out of their pockets at the end of the day. But people will fall over their feet to employ you. Just tell them you're a Ravenclaw. No-one really cares if you flipped burgers in the Easter hols while you were at school, but telling them the House you were sorted into will get you FAR in the world of work. Um.

Don't think I can help with the art, but isn't Barry good at that kind of stuff? Being a muse, and all?

Much love, and I'm about to fill out my application for sorting elite. Don't squib me, willya? *pleads*

*shakes head* Dude, I lobe you so much.

Seriously, I wasn't LOOKING for pimpage *pauses for a bit to marvel at the fun word*. I mean, I got recced on a couple ljs. It's just I wanted all the hits that FA gets on my story, dammit. I know - I'm five. *chews lip*

I think it's the fact that I never did flip burgers that's working against me. *grins* And squib you? Nevair, darling!

Bugger, hey?

I think that's about all I can say... I feel your pain with the burnt spaghetti though :(

At least I don't have to worry about frizzy hair - mine's pretty straight - in fact, right now, it is perfectly straight because the hairdresser did it for me! (first time I've ever had my hair straightened!)

I was already planning on reccing Sob Story on my lj... I don't have a huge f-list but I'm pretty sure it's different from yours ;)

Double and triple, on the rocks, bugger...

It tasted AWFUL. *sobs*

Oh, recs, recs are nice and lovely, but it was just - FA was my first site, you know? And it was like all these random people just clicking on the merits of your summary. After all, recs are objective or subjective or whatever the word is. I just wanted to be listed, DAMMIT! *sulks*

That was the lj equivalent of a temper tantrum, btw, in case you didn't guess. *winks*

Hey! I happen to code and stuff for FA, so I'll check what the status of your fic is and get back to you. No idea what house you submitted it to, but. :)) Hopefully it will get up in the next upload.

Hi again. This is so weird; I remember seeing your fic a couple of days ago and it has all but disappeared! You got the upload notice I assume... Hm. I'll do some checking around and see what happened. If you were left off the OWL list and the like I'm sure they can add your name belatedly on the next upload. Sorry!

MOI AUSSI!

Yes, indeed and we are. I wanted to post that thought better so that everyone would agree but instead they responded to the tantrum bit! I suppose this is what happens when you POST a tantrum.

I will try that. Or my brother. It is nice to see you around again!
