At a time like this any One will do
I'm freezing cold, according to my hilarious biochemistry book there's a high possibility that I have scurvy, fandom persists in screwing with my head and I can't get rid of nor write the Seamus/Neville/poppies bunny.

Haha bunnies.

This is the point at which someone should remind me that I'm not a starving Ethiopian, I think.

Dearie, I hate to break it to you, but you're not a starving Ethiopian, you know.
OMG I JUST FINISHED READING YOUR LATEST FIC ON rainspots AND I'M ABOUT TO COMMENT ON IT, BUT JUST LETTING YOU KNOW IT WAS AMAZING AND MAN, OKAY, IF YOU CONTINUED IT NO ONE WOULD HATE YOU.

Durn, I knew there was something not quite right with the geography ...
Is this to be taken as if I don't continue it there will be hatin'? *grins* Thank you darlin', that's cheered me up an unbelievable amount. *love*

*rambling*
PERHAPS. Or that if you continued it, people would subside from loving you and instead LOVE YOU, which is of course the opposite of HATING YOU and just as potent (ha ha that was philosophically fulfilling) and seriously, you write the best rarepair ever. (And also not so rarepair, but for the sake of this comment we'll ignore the D/H.)

I suppose the news must be broken you at some point - you are not a starving Ethiopian, my dear.

I read you first sentence as "I have scurvy fandom parasites screwing with my head!" And was inclined to agree with you :P

Just keep flinging that mud ... some of it is sure to stick!

Fandom parasites! This month's lj must have! *glee*

Ahaha! *passes teh carrots*

My brother's hamster got scurvy once, a long time ago. We had to mash up carrots for the poor little guy, until his scurvy went away. :)

Ewie. *makes face*

I had to laugh, though, the title of the mini chapter was: "Why Sailors, Explorers and College Students should eat their fresh fruit and vegetables" and ended with "So, eat your fresh fruit and vegetables." Pity the authors with the sense of humour wrote the most difficult damn book ...

Hugs, my dear. You are not a starving Ethiopian. And better yet, I have a crazy story for you, which I will LJ in the next couple of days. Or possibly hours.

I need crazy stories right now! I found one of my own, from when I climbed Croke Patrick (mountain) and it reminded me how much better you are at doing it.
Caitcoralia13 on September 18th, 2005 01:02 pm (UTC)
Well, I am flattered, but nonsense! I would love to read that!

By the way, love the icon!

You may, in fact, be a starving Ethiopian with an internet connection and an lj account, and we could never know the difference.

You are not a starving Ethiopian, but I shall huggle you anyway *huggles*

Yes, the same book said Brit soldiers were called limeys because of having to drink lime juice to combat scurvy.
