Oh, and Rose is SUCH a bitch!

Yep, got that memo.

Thank you!

Arrgh! I so want to know what happens next. Rose is all snippety, and Albus was swearing, and ALL HELL is breaking loose.

You've left me hanging here.

Sry, love, will try better next time. :D

Soooooo fabulous! A perfect chapter in every possible way. And such a great way to end it. Really, this is such a brilliant story all the way around.

Sadly, I'm already pining for the next installment.

Okay so it's been said plenty of times before, but:

"Because," panted Albus, at the end of his tether, "she's a bitch."

After that, all hell broke loose.

FANTASTIC. *dies away* I was giggling. And yes, Albus, she is a bitch! I'd say she inherited the worst of her parents, with some of her own little faults...

They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.

How appropriate to add to the start.

...I get the eerie suspicion that Albus is about to be grounded until the end of time. But man, oh man, it was totally worth it!

You rock, Madam.
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 20th, 2007 03:50 pm (UTC)
Y'see, in my family, that wouldn't happen. In a fair fight, no one gets punished for fighting. Eh. Guess I'm gonna have to revise my upbringing to satisfy people's need for revenge!

Oh, goody! As usual, I'm off to read, but this time I already read the last paragraph and have the following hopes for the near future:
1) rose gets her comeuppance
2) The Weasley clan (including Harry) learns what james tried to do to force Albus to lie, and James also gets what he deserves from grownups
3) that I can read the next chapter very, very soon and find out what hell broke loose!

It's interesting how vindictive people are. If James and Rose were your kids and you learned that about them, what would you do?

I love the image of Albus and Draco both suffering from the same tailor :-)

I'm really enjoying the conflict with James and Rose too, actually. I find it a bit painful, because I hate the idea of our kids messing up with their own kids like that; but the fact that the conflict is with characters we're invested in by default because of who they are, for all they're being jerks, makes it a lot more interesting than, say, Harry's conflicts with Draco in the first couple of books, where we had no reason not to cast Draco as the villain in every situation, or to expect better of him.

I find the fact that Ron literally has no idea why Albus wouldn't want to hang out with Rose rather intersting, too; and maybe a bit heartening. I'd like to think the adults aren't knowingly letting the situation fester.

Oh, they don't! I'm not that bad at characterisation.

Thank you!

Hah! You tell 'em, Albus- I've been wanting to say that since forever. XD

Not to mention the fact that the Harry/Draco scenes amused me to no end. I giggled too much for my own good. =D Heh...I'm still proud of Albus...^^

It's so great to hear that I made someone laugh. Thank you!

Oh, every stage of this was equally delightful! Yay, Albus meeting the portraits! I wasn't clear -- who was AD looking at "like Scorpius"? Do I detect a hint of Portrait Snapledore? And the last bit took me by surprise and made me laugh out loud. Go, Albus!
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 21st, 2007 12:09 pm (UTC)
He was looking at Snape. I guess it's more pre-slashy, a bit like Albus and Scorpius are now. :D

Thank you!

1) That is the bestest poem ever and I know it by heart, so I squeed when I saw it.
2) I LOVES ME SOME ALBUS SEVERUS. He is so freaking adorable. And the friendship bracelets? Major awwww.
3) I will now be having your babies. Please and thank you.

Please write more as soon as you can. If, for instance, you should update within the next five minutes, I would marry you. And stuff.

1) I love it too. Larkin rules ok.

2) Cuteness also rules ok.

3) Better you than me. My mother's a midwife and. Yuck. Never letting anything like that near my ovaries!

I'll have to turn down your proposal ... looks like it will be Thursday at the earliest. Damn college!

Not at all! I've always wanted a shiny cape. And an excuse to wear it.

Thank you!

I love this so much. They are all so eleven. I love Albus' guilt re: the dysentery drops, I love Luna's wedding being absolutely wacky. I love Albus calling Rose a bitch in front of god and everybody!

Is it bad that I was rooting for Harry and Draco to get totally pissed at the wedding and run off and shag?
The Goddamn Wolf Womanslythwolf on August 16th, 2007 05:04 am (UTC)
Oh! And you know what else I love? I love Albus meeting Snape and Dumbledore. :D And I extra-love that when Harry and Draco are being idiots at each other, everybody's kind of like, "Dude, you're embarrassing me. I'm going over there now."
Merit: La Corda D'Oromeritjubet on August 16th, 2007 04:52 am (UTC)
*wince* Albus is going to be in so much trouble. But Rose did lie, so she deserves some punishment.

It's great that there are elements of the past resurfacing in this fic :) Draco and Harry will always have something to snipe about.

Friendship between Luna and Draco sounds interesting, they're very different people, to say the least ;)

Scorpius is so sweet giving the friendship bracelet ^___^

Thank you! I think Luna's love of sunflowers is canon ... or if it isn't, it should be.
