I love this whole series so much. Albus calling Rose a bitch PWNS.

Albus WINS.

Also, there's a good chance I'm developing an eensy crush on Morse.

Oh, my god, the adults behave so badly! Awesome. I really enjoy the kids' bewilderment at the adult politics and arguments.

I think you'll have to fight a couple people for him. ;D

I so often feel that way ... sigh! Thank you.

LOL ALBUS FTW! Perhaps not the most prudent thing to say given how biased the adults are ("GRR MALFOY BAD INFLUENCE GRRR"), but very true nonetheless.

And Scorpius is the cutest little thing ever. ♥

Albus hasn't exactly shown a lotta prudence generally ... it must be his genes!

Thank you. :D

Have I told you yet that I love this story? To hell with what other people think. Albus is perfect, in every way. And it makes complete sense that James and Rose would turn out the way they did. Of course, Ron would spoil his children. And of course, Harry would spoil his first born. It all makes sense. I do so hope that you update soon.

I'm glad I'm making sense to 50% of the population. What politician could ask for more? :P Thank you!

That last line officially makes this my favorite AS/S fic *ever* Kudos!

Awesome stuff. Yay, Albus! And Rose is a spoilt bitch, I'd almost feel sorry for Hermione and Ron, except it seems like they are completely oblivious.

Now I just want James to get his comeuppance and it'll be all good.

Ignorance is bliss, as they say.

Thank you!

Sorry for not having commented before :) I've been reading this story since you started posting and I've been enjoying it very much!
I love it that Dudley had a magical son and all the new generation are developing quite interestingly. I am sorry Al and James seem to have such huge divide between them - I would hope for Harry's kids to get along at least, but I guess it creates more tension in the story and it makes things more interesting? :) Poor Albus for being so prone to illness :( The fact that that's quite his brother's fault is even more horrible. Also, Rose is quite nasty to Albus which is a bit sad :( But I do like that they all seem to be individual characters and not carbon copies of their parents.
I really like Albus, I like that he doesn't whinge, he stands up for himself no mater what the odds against him are :) Rose is indeed bitchy but I doubt that parents will be very understanding of Albus after such a declaration :/
And I go 'awwww' every time Albus and Scorpius hold hands :) So cute :) and Albus not really wanting to have a girlfriend was really cute as well. I wonder when he'll figure out he might want a boyfriend :P The friendship bracelet :) Scorpius is so crafty :P
Also, it was nice seeing Albus interact a bit with the headmasters haha.

Something you might want to change: Africa is a poor country.
Um, Africa is not a country. It's a continent. :) I think Minerva would know that. So, um, something along the lines that: 'There are a lot of poor people in Africa,' might be more geographically correct. Though I may be the only one who notices this so if it doesn't bother you, just leave it as it is I guess.

But I do like that they all seem to be individual characters and not carbon copies of their parents.

That was my aim. It would be a bit boring if I just wrote JK's story all over again.

Don't worry, I changed the Africa thing! But thanks for pointing it out, and for commenting. ♥

Albus tried very hard not to think the word 'breasts' again.

*giggles* bless

and the closer? brilliant. you tell 'em albus.

Hell, I'm still a little freaked out by the world, and I have 'em!

Thanks!

I don't want to make a list of all the things I loved in this, because it'd be a very long list indeed and I'd certianly forget something. However, it starts with: Albus, Scorpius, portraits, Harry-Draco. ♥
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 22nd, 2007 08:01 pm (UTC)
I decided I just had to put in something with the portraits ... a bunch of people mentioned it, and I'm too malleable for my own good! Thanks.

I loved this. So many wonderful moments. The interaction between the Snape and Dumbledore portraits was fantastic, and McGonagall makes a really awesome headmistress. Everything about Luna's wedding was so right for her, and the way it ended was just perfect. I'm really looking forward to seeing where it all goes next.
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 22nd, 2007 08:01 pm (UTC)
I quite liked imagining Luna's wedding myself. I thought it would be mad, colourful and exotic. I don't know how much of that I managed to convey ... but it was fun trying! Thanks.
themadpokerthemadpoker on August 16th, 2007 10:59 am (UTC)
Oh dear. Albus is going to be grounded for the rest of forever isn't he? -winces- I mean it needed saying but there's no way on Earth he's going to get away without being punished for that.

"I say it is," said Morse. "Luna loves sunflowers, and I think they're such happy, cheerful flowers - all these are good things to bring to this wedding. It doesn't really matter what's lucky for other weddings." I think I might be developing a tiny fictional crush on Morse. Luna raised an awesome son. =)

"You're acting stupid," Albus told his father.

"Father, stop being so impolite," reproved Scorpius. With that, they by mutual accord left their cold-hearted sires and went to finish off the doughnut in peace.
Hee. It's a little strange that Harry's still so immature about Malfoy but it was definitely funny to see their sons telling them to behave themselves.

I also loved Albus' interaction with the headmaster portraits.

"I can't believe this! Even paintings give me stick over it!" exclaimed Albus. "Yes, I'm friends with a Malfoy. Watch out, the sky may fall in!"
Great line. I can see that he'd be getting a little touchy about people making a huge deal about this often. Also the 'sky may fall in!' sarcasm at the end sounded so like an eleven-year old it made me grin. =D

Well I think I've covered all my favourite bits. Thanks so much for this fic: it's one of the things I look forward to seeing each day.
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 22nd, 2007 08:03 pm (UTC)
Maybe, maybe not. :D

Morse, if he was real, would be over the moon with all the attention he's getting. Yay for accidentally creating romantic heroes?

Eleven-year-olds have to have sarcasm; they're too young for wit.

Thank you!
Rosefourth_rose on August 16th, 2007 11:18 am (UTC)
Oh, evil cliffhanger!

I loved the way you made the adults act more childishly than the kids - that, unfortunately, is a rather realistic take!

SO much love for the scene with the portraits - I hope we'll get to see some more of Dumbledore and Snape! :))

*eagerly anticipates next part*
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 22nd, 2007 08:04 pm (UTC)
Childish is an insult, but for some reason, adultish isn't. Maybe because no one ever really is!

Great that you liked it - I know so many people wanted to see it that I was afraid of disappointing expectations. ♥
omnimalevolent on August 16th, 2007 12:34 pm (UTC)
Genius as usual
*delurks, because the last line is too beautiful not to*

But, ouch, is Albus in for some serious punishment now. But it's OKAY because I known that there's happiness (that is to say, slash) at the end of the tunnel. ♥

I am absolutely loving this fic! I love that Albus and Scorpius are getting slowly but surely closer (because the best slash is lovely, slow slash) and that you make me want to shake Rose Weasley (I have even begun to dislike her in other fics. YourRoseissocanon.) Most of all though, I love all the random little details you throw in, because they put the icing on the cake. <3

Re: Genius as usual
It's a long tunnel; but slash casts a long shadow, because it shines so bright.

Thank you so much! The little details are what makes writing it fun for me also. ♥
