I haven't even read it yet but I'm seeing the word "Last" and "complete" and I'm all WTF NO. Don't tell me you blew up Hogwarts?? How can this be the end of these fabulous characters?? *stops freaking temporarily and goes to read*

No, rocks fell and everyone died. ;P

it was awesome!!!!!!!! tell me please this is not over!!! you made my wishes come true! rose was exposed, james was a bit less of a prick (it would have been weirder if he'd been a nice and kind human being) lily had a little cameo and we met dudley!!
it was amazing and I need more of this!!!!!!!

Then rest easy, my friend, for a second arc is in the pipeline!

Wow, this was such a unique ending! I really liked it a lot, although I'm sad that it had to end. Of course, I know that no one really has the time to continue such a long fic indefinitely, and I appreciate that it went on for as long as it did. Thank you for everything and I hope to see more from you.

You certainly will! Thank you.

Well, it was a lovely ride. I loved to whole piece and wish it wasn't the end. Are you thinking of continuing it?
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 26th, 2007 07:05 pm (UTC)
I am indeed! A second arc set in sixth year is fermenting in my back brain. :D
scarletscarlet on August 24th, 2007 04:45 am (UTC)
Heh. I have such a weakness for Draco, bastard or not :).

I really liked the structure here. And that Scorpius smells like vanilla. Aw :). And the scene with James, sorta backing down without *actually* backing down.

Love this story :).
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 26th, 2007 07:06 pm (UTC)
mmm, vanilla is yummy. And it just seems such a blonde sort of smell, don't you agree?

Thank you! ♥
eromenos_x on August 24th, 2007 05:12 am (UTC)
wow.. was that the end? DAMN! That was gooooooood! I love how you made albus have a funky immune system +_+ This .. needs a sequel so then albus and scorpius get a little cloooooser ^_^
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 26th, 2007 07:06 pm (UTC)
I agree! And there shall be one. :D
MintyMe__mintyfresh on August 24th, 2007 06:14 am (UTC)
Ah! I don't even know where to start! I was so worried during the middle bit... poor Albus, I thought the worst had happened to him! I really liked James in this bit. Albus and his conversation was a perfect truce for the two of them! And of course, Scorpius is fantastic. I love these characters and this was a wonderful ending to this story!
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 26th, 2007 07:07 pm (UTC)
Thank you very much! It was a rather experimental format, so I'm glad so many people gelled with it. ♥

Ah. Ah. That was a great ending to a great story. I'm really looking forward to the rest of Scorpius and Albus' journey. With you at the helm, it'll be a fantastic ride.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I love your portrayals of the adults, appreciating their strengths, quirks, and prejudices. As much as I wanted to growl at Harry and Ron and cheer for Draco, you do a fabulous job of balancing them and making it very clear that there isn't really a party in the right where they're concerned, that they all are guilty in their own ways and none of them are near perfect.

Watching the boys grow and mature has been absolutely heartwarming. It was so charming, and you make their story so appropriate for their ages. Their closeness is very tender for two young boys, with just the right amount of hinting toward romance in the future, with a dash of the rough-and-tumble boyishness that's to be expected from kids this age. It's all very touching and thoroughly satisfying.

That is so much my aim in everything I write that it's delightful to hear that it actually happens (ie not just inside my head).

Thank you very much! ♥

Wait! Is it over? It just cannot be!

I loved this to the death. Albus and Scorpius and all of it. And James being a little better in the end. It was all so perfect. I hope that you continue writing, whatever it might be and especially anything with Albus and Scorpius.

Don't worry, it would take a lot to stop me writing! Permanently, I mean - I have minor freakouts quite frequently.

Thank you! ♥

Don't worry - it's not! Just this arc is complete. :D

Oh, I can't believe it's over! I so want more of this journey. I - I can't express it, but... (sometimes I think that the greater something is, the less I can put words on it). This place you've created, these characters, their interactions... they've been on my mind, and my heart have leaped with various emotions, and this, you know, it's something so true and complex and real with this story, it feels like every single character are endless; they're not bound by the story. It's amazing to read something like that.

Sorry for being incoherent, but, well... *sighs* In more mundane words: Thank you for this absolutely brilliant story. I loved every word.

ps. I don't like Dickens either.
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 26th, 2007 07:12 pm (UTC)
It's amazing to hear something like that. It's totally humbling, because - I didn't intend that. I just hoped some people would read it, which is all I hope with any fic. And it's not even like I invested a huge amount of effort into it. Eeep.

Thank you! ♥ ♥ ♥

Dickens is a loser! lol

That's all? No more Albus and Scorpius and allergic attacks? Waaaah! It's too sad to part with them.

But thank you very much! It was a very enjoyable journey (sorry for the alliteration). Hope that you write some more AS/S(ish) fics!
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 26th, 2007 07:13 pm (UTC)
Don't be sad - this isn't the end of their story. ♥

I certainly will. I like this 'verse too; it's nice and comfy.

Lovely, wonderful, excellent. I loved every step. And I so hope that we'll see Albus and Scorpius and the gang in the (near) future.
