No problemo! ♥

Gah, Snape scared me. I was very alarmed for Albus for a while there. Of course, then Scorpius showed up and made everything better, so I won't complain too much.

And...I don't really know what to say because I'm so busy being choked up because James just said, "I love you" in James-speak and Albus opened his eyes and smiled at Scorpius. Oh, except that I can't wait for the journey to continue! ;)

James just said, "I love you" in James-speak

lol, he so did! :D

Thank you!

Awwe, I really loved your characters. I almost don't want to see them written any other way, because your Albus and Scorpius are the way I see them now.

Will you be writing anything more in this universe? pretty pretty pretty please?

Abi

Sorry about that ... hopefully it will help when I write more about them?

Just answered that question anyway! There's a sixth-year arc in the pipeline. ♥

This was absolutely fabulous and I enjoyed every word. I love Albus so much, you did such a good job of giving him such rich character. Poor kid! Thank goodness he has Scorpius!

Also - RAMBO, YES.
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 26th, 2007 07:36 pm (UTC)
Ooh, the plans I have for those two... *is evil plotter*

Yes. I think I'll get him a bandana and all. :D

I'm just back home and this is FINISHED?

Love what you've done with all the characters, loveloveLOVE. Dudley and Cristal are absolutely wonderful, and ghost!Scorpius stroking Albus's hair is just too marvellous for words.

Add my voice to everyone wailing for more. Are you sure you want to wait until they're 16? I adore your slow development of character; I could take a lot more between now and their last year. I also think you're very good at rounded, shaded characters like Draco or James. (I love that Draco respects Hermione.) I need a RLT fix! MOAR!

every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 26th, 2007 07:39 pm (UTC)
I thought about writing a story for every year they were at Hogwarts. Two things canned that idea 1) time; I'd lose steam before getting anything I wanted to written, and I haven't that much plotting skill; and 2) that would be, at 10 chapters a go, something like 350,000 WORDS. JK'd want to be paying me at that rate. No way.

Anyway, thank you! ♥

I may or may not have wet myself when I saw that you'd prefaced this chapter with e.e. cummings because omg I love him so much. ♥

That being said... wow. Wow. The structure of this chapter alone is enough to make me flail with joy (I am a sucker for strangely structured stories, hence my adoration of House of Leaves and Virginia Woolf), not to mention the actual (beautiful!) content. Eee, the Dursleys and the Malfoys = MADE OF WIN. I'm really amused by Dudley's transformation, especially. Hurhurhur. Also, awww James. ♥ I love conflicted family relationships. Not in real life, of course, but you know.

SCORPIUS IS ALBUS' VANILLA!... /gackt reference that nobody will get
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 26th, 2007 07:42 pm (UTC)
I'm a new convert, but I've learned three of his poems off by heart just for the fun of it. Love!

Those sorts of relationships are the best sort to write and read, and the total worst to live. Fer sure.

Well, I know who Gackt is ... but that's about it. Sorry!

Awwww. The end is really cute. :) I like the ghosts that come to visit him. They had character. *grins* Poor Albus though, going through so much. But at least it all worked out in the end... And maybe James will be less mean to him. *pets Albus*
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 26th, 2007 07:43 pm (UTC)
I think that's James' lefthanded way of saying sorry. :D

Thank you! ♥

You certainly got a lot in this last bit! Thank you for making James realise that he does actually love his brother and feels remorse over "The Mouse Incident" but not having him suddenly change character.

I enjoyed behind the scenes with the Malfoys. Draco stepping in to straighten the facts (and of course get a parenting dig in) was awesome. I hope to see more of Mrs. Malfoy in the next arc. She's interesting.

I'm with Scorpius on the well. That is Albus' version of the afterlife? Trapped in a well? Poor Albus... I don't even know what that says about him.

Dudley! I was hoping to see him. It's interesting that he sees his bullying behaviour as acceptable/par for the course of growing up. I doubt that would be Harry's take on it. ;)

And SNAPE! There's never enough Snape.

Awesome, thanks! I hope you do get to continue the story.

Err, neither do I ... writers should never admit to being less than omnipotent though, right?, so it totally means something deep and psykerlogical.

What Dudley meant, basically, is that kids are shitheads. That sort of behaviour doesn't have to taint you for life, though. We saw that start of his redemption in DH - it is canon!

Thank you, and I will. ♥

i think i read these later than everyone else. and it was awesome.
the best part, to the extent that i was like yelling and jumping up and down, was albus having a immune disease/food intolerance thing. i have celiac disease, so i can't eat gluten, and i'm also casein intolerant, so i can't have milk products either. so it was awesome. though the idea of gluten-free donuts, served at a wedding full of people who can eat wheat, nearly made me cry *jealous*
lol
anyway, it rocked.
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 27th, 2007 12:08 pm (UTC)
Wow, coeliac and casein-intolerant? You really need to visit Diagon Alley for their magical gluten and milk-free foodshop. I'm sure they have one.

Thank you! ♥

So I really was planning to go to sleep (what was that, an hour ago?) but then I realized that this really was the last chapter so of course I had to finish. This was really, really good. I don't even know if I can pick out favorite parts, just ... I hope you write more about these characters. I've read a lot of post-DH fic recently, but I think your Albus and Scorpius might be my favorite. You've certainly done justice to their world and the people that populate it. Just ... fantastic. Thank you. :)
every Starbucks should have a polar bearscoradh on August 27th, 2007 12:09 pm (UTC)
I will certainly do my best to write another arc as soon as possible. Thank you for all your comments! ♥

Loved the way you told the last part in this way--it's fantastic, and really original. I enjoyed it very much, and I'm glad it ended well.
