It must be a truth universally acknowledged that anyone who paraphrases Austen is...
...guilty of having a run on good subject titles.

People, people, people! Words can hardly express my dismay (although they'll certainly work hard in the attempt, the little buggers). I AM STILL THE ONLY PERSON TO LIST VETINARI/DRUMKNOTT in my interests. Am I so totally alone? Was it only I who saw the blatant sparks in Feet of Clay?!!?

In news of my life, my brother has used up all my witch hazel spot-stick (eight euro at Boots, too!). I'm starting to severely regret dressing him in my old frocks when he was small and had blonde curls...(and he's meant to be the 'alpha male', at least when my dad's not home. I made a crack about every household needing a 'beta reader' too, but alas, no one got it. They are such plebes.)

ETA:

Your Active humor (I don't think u-discrimination is that funny, actually) score of 8/10 means you are a comic house on fire. (Pyromanicism rocks my tiny world.) You are Def Comedy Jam (for the first five minutes, before it becomes repetitive and degrading). (I would've said derogatory and HP-oriented, but hey, it's all in the translation.) You are a library (I hate them! I mean, you have to give the books back) of witty rejoinders, in-jokes, ad-libs and meatballs. Yeah, I said meatballs. They're underrated. (You can bloody well say that again. Meat-BALLZ!)

The trick for you is to ease yourself into a situation, since you have the capacity to dominate (You say this like it's a bad thing!). If you're socially well-adjusted, you're awesome. If you're kind of nervous and twitchy like Daniel Radcliff in the Prisoner of Azkaban special features, then there can be trouble. ( *is proud* There, now.

...Sadly, I fear I am socially okay-adjusted, so all the fun went from this RIGHT THERE.
)

OMIGOD NO EVILNESS FOR SYBIL/VIMES IS CHWEET LIKE BITTER CHOCOLATE. This world is so twisted! Vimes...no no no!

Dammit, I have not read that. When will the soft-cover come out, I rant wail and demand?!

YES ONE BLOODY CAN!

But because I am masochistic to the core...

...hit me. How does one glean V/V (hehe!) from canon?!
gabbysun on January 20th, 2005 07:36 pm (UTC)
Rather easily!?

;D

Nah, I'm joking; I really can't say I ship anything noncanon from DW, but V/V was surprisingly easy for me to spot. xD;

Your post today sent me into a tizzy of confusion. Feet of Clay? Witch hazel spot stick? Huh?

If you're kind of nervous and twitchy like Daniel Radcliff in the Prisoner of Azkaban special features I love that they went there!!! Who is "they", btw?

Feet of Clay is another Discworld novel. xD Witch hazel - some kind of pimple drier-outer. It comes in little tubes like lip-gloss and you paste it on your spots. It doesn't work of course, but it does make you feel like you're trying.

It is one of those surveys. It was on disc_sophist's journal, and has been going around for a while (that's why I didn't bother posting the link!).

Ah, I have that, except it is called 'Neutrogena Skinclearing oil-free concealor, Fair 01'. It doesn't work either.

It's a bloody scam.

Oh, no, the poor distressed mouse! It is a mouse, isn't it? Scary and wrong. ^_~

I am so, so lost. Clarify? xD
Minnowminnow_53 on January 21st, 2005 11:24 am (UTC)
The animal icon reflecting your mood. Your mood is 'distressed'. The animal squirms about at the top of your journal. Misery for poor animal (mouse?) ensues. No doubt. Animated mouse, of course. A real mouse would be dead.

Clearer? I hope!^_^

Oh, the GERBIL! Or Hamster, I'm not sure which. *contemplates* Yes, I think he's quite cute, and I like him when he moves. He probably goes asleep when we're not watching, though. His name is Wyclef.
Minnowminnow_53 on January 21st, 2005 11:46 pm (UTC)
I wish my bloody fox would move. He just sits there, whether I'm watching or not. Or maybe he moves when nobody's looking...^_^
