Feck! Drink! Wimmen!

Okay, some pure gombeen inside in the Applications office decided to tell me last night that my application, being a late one, was invalid. O.o Cue my mother getting sick, my father ringing every five minutes from Waterford to touch base and me having a mild ditherspaz attack and using the fact that I was a) forced to take the day off work and b) allowed to go on internet during the day to HTML the BB fic and mess about. Yeah, Trinners for winners, my ARSEHOLE. Anyway, it got fixed, although it confirmed that my journal title couldn't be more apt -- I actually couldn't have cared less if it did or didn't. Which is prolly tempting fate, but still.

I've been meaning to ask this for ages, yet I still have no idea why.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE FOOD? Or, for my Hamburger-a-go-go-ian pals, favorite food.

Shit, that hurt.

Mine is chicken and ham pie, straight from the deli counter at Centra preferably *swoons*, but if I had to choose one thing to live on it would be Muller corner Penguin-flavoured yoghurts. Straight from the fridge, preferably; I think Cut-Me-Own-Hand-Off Dhblah is a shining example of what you shouldn't do to yoghurt. ^__~

Oh, you've really got me with favourite food. I used to play a game called the Death Row Prisoner's Last Meal, where I'd be allowed just three courses, of one food/dish each, and no more.

It would have to be seafood (giant prawns, but not the cotton-woolly ones) generally and chocolate cake (MY chocolate cake) and cheeseburgers. Plus unlimited amounts of very cold, dry white wine.

^_^xx

O.o You can get prawns made of cotton wool? Could you get ... CANDYFLOSS prawns? Oh, now there's a happy thought... *licks lips*

You make the chocolate cake? There's a bakery in my nearest town that makes the most gorgeous kind, with cottage cheese filling. Mmm.

Hmm... Favourite (with a big, fat 'U') food... Probably groin-grabbingly good pizza. Maybe from Domino's or something.

Those Penguin-thingies are really good for a while, but then you just eat too many of them and they become vomit-inducing.
At least, if you're me you do. Which you're clearly not.

All hail the U!

I like pizza too, but I usually just get the frozen kind -- chicken and onion Goodfellas, ring any gourmet bells? 8D

Yeah, actually, I can taste that they would be ... but you know supermarkets, they stock ten thousand of them for a fortnight, then you don't see them again for six months. *facepalm*

Oooh, tough to say! Any of the following: really well-prepared shrimp (non-breaded, preferably in some sort of delectable garlic/butter sauce), scallops (same deal), my mother's Boston Cream Pie, cookies & cream ice cream, barbecued chicken of any variety, garlic bread, steak & Guinness pie... take your pick. :)

I'm telling you. Americans have the best food in the WORLD.

Hmmm... depends a bit on my mood... but I'd say tuna and onion pizza, spaghetti with blue cheese sauce, and my Mum's pork roast with bread dumplings.

And then I constantly go through phases where I eat a specific kind of food all the time for a few weeks. Right now it's feta cheese.

Ohmygill, what is with everyone and the loving of the tuna, man?!

:) I quite like nibbling Edam cheese.

Penguin-flavoured yoghurts? I do hope that's a brand, or something. No eating the penguins! It'd be, like, homophobic. o__O

My favourite food? Brains! Tough call, but probably something with pasta. Like a really good dish of fried egg-noodles with cashews and mushrooms and various other de-licious vegetables. Fresh pasta can be wonderful too; eating at a genuine Italian restaurant was a disappointment in regards to the pizza, but the pasta was just dreamy. Or that new, simple recipe I tried out, with curry and coconut milk and... :p~

... Dammit, now I'm hungry again.

No, no, they're a brand of chocolate bar! Yummy.

You have brains on the brain! I quite like pasta too, but I'm so plebeian that I just get the stuff straight from the jar...

I love movie theater popcorn with extra butter, so much that it drips out the bottom of the bag. Mmmm.

I'm also a sucker for prime rib dinners. My mother's fried chicken and chocolate walnut brownies with chocolate frosting.

Oh, man, butter... glistening... *drools*

I used to have a recipe for American brownies. They were SWEET. 8D

I was all ready to say chocolate, but if I'm going to be honest I'll have to say my tuna noodle salad. It's just canned tuna, macaroni, and mayo all mixed up. I sometimes add chili powder, pepper, shredded lettuce, diced tomatos or celery to mix it up. It sounds gross and looks like brains but I grew up eating it and LIVE off this stuff, seriously. I eat it about once or twice a week.

if I had to choose one thing to live on it would be Muller corner Penguin-flavoured yoghurts. Straight from the fridge, preferably; I think Cut-Me-Own-Hand-Off Dhblah is a shining example of what you shouldn't do to yoghurt. ^__~

...Penguin-flavoured yoghurt?

Glad the stress, or... lack of stress... is gone now. Whew - university paper work madness, what a blast!

Favorite food, eh? Hmm. Well, what I always eat when I go out is a hamburger and fries (here in the US, we have it down to a fine art), but I also love this tuna noodle casserole my grandma makes, carrot cake, and pop-overs... I think carrot cake with vanilla ice cream has to win.

IS EVIL.

Hmm, I can't remember the last time I went to a fast food joint. I hate thick chips -- they have to be tiny, thin chips. I hate the 'floury' ones. Ukk.

TUNA?

FISH?

*gags*

*eyes you* You sound suspiciously healthy with your tuna and carrots and whatnot. You need more chocolate in your diet. I say so.

MAH FAV-ER-IT FOOD EES . . . um. I like potatoes an awful lot. xD; And ice cream is good. Fruit's nice too. :O

Natch. :)

You could nearly be Irish from that potato love you've got going, there.

Not at all, although you'll hardly be inundated with fic updates. I write at the pace of an arthritic snail. 8D

Yeesh, Ireland is not so cosmopolitan that I really know what that is -- Uncle Ben's is about as close as I get...

My favourite food would have to be my dad's sausage penne, spiced with peppercorns and basil etc. in a tomato and hot salsa sauce mix, alongside carrots and fresh bread. *mouth waters*

I like chocolate. And lollies. And generally food that is not so healthy for the body.

I like apples though. And chicken!
