I have a Discworld bookmark and you don't.

Many happy returns of the day to kabeyk, me auld sod! I hope you get lots of nice things for your birthday, like three pages of reviews and fleshpot!Sirius dressed in naught but eyeliner and a silver chain. For my part, here’s your pressie. It is but a little, little thing that I now do, than I have ever done that I wrote when I should have been delving into the Tempting Mysteries of Histology, TM, but, no, I didn’t. All hail the J/S!

I’m so excited, and I just can’t hide it, I’m about to lose control and I think I’ve found it! The book! The book for which I have been waiting these past six long lonely years. Ladies and jellyspoons, I’ve seen it in black and white: A Feast for Crows, coming to Waterstones this OCTOBER! *breaks out the champers*

Yes, in case you’re wondering. I’m more excited about this than about book seven. A) George RR Martin is a phenomenal writer. JK … ain’t. B) Six years!! C) Book seven will create merry hell in the fandom, which of course is far more important than JK’s writing career or funds or castle or the little kiddies who want to find out how Voldemort dies.

*faints in ecstasy*

FIC. *pounce*

Is he that good? I've seen him on shelves, but if this is your reaction . . .

*adds to must-read list*

Absolutely phenomenal talent in building this huge, believable fantasy empire. It's like Ancient Rome, with magic and dragons. And really unique magic too. How about winters and summers that last for years? *loves* Mind, it should come with an NC17 rating, but then again I read it first when I was twelve. Precocious, much? :P

Hee. I know how you mean. Parents are so afraid of pr0n and stuff over the internet when, really, ALL THE PR0N WE COULD EVER NEED IS RIGHT HERE IN MY BOOK.

(By the way, amazing icon!)

Am so excited, but I'm trying not to read it while drunk, which is difficult at the moment, what with being drunk (again), damn it.

*loves you*

J/S forever! Actually, no, J/R/S forever! :P

kxx

Heh, and here I am not reading (but nearly there!) "The foundations of Biochemistry ... with the cell, biology discovered its atom" *facepalm* Isn't "Say hello and wave goodbye" just the saddest song in the world?! I'm telling everybody I'm replying to. *sniff*

I'll go for the first, considering my views on the boringness of Remus and inability to do anything so kinky as a threesome.

I did not write hot sex, btw. That was, like, fading to black. Lukewarm at best. xD

*blinks* I didn't realise 'til now that you had gotten a fic journal. Good for you, though. *saves address for later*

*celebrates the imminent arrival of AFfC* :D

Yeah, I was erring on the side of reticence. I did mention it in passing, but 0 people picked it up. xD

*quivers with barely suppressed excitement* I'm so afraid it's going to let me down, HBP-style. I mean, six years... he's either fresh or flunking, yeah? I must reread it. Along with biochemistry, of course.
