Because there are unseen forces at work of which we have no comprehension ... and they were picking on me? :P
Hels: humourwingsister on December 8th, 2005 01:43 pm (UTC)
Oh, those. Sometimes I think unseen forces need to get a life. I mean, if you were an unseen force wouldn't you want to make people happy?

Life is the space between two words we will never know.

*complusively quoting This Diary Will Change Your Life.

And I still can't do those bleeding hearts! Ahaha, bleeding hearts ... pfft.

Ooh, I am so tempted to watch "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," if I finish my anatomy and physiology on time. Even though I hate the actress in it.

Life sucks, and rarely swallows. :)

Hugs from across the Atlantic. I am thinking of you with a sad and concerned look on my face. If you want to talk about it, my inbox is waiting with open arms.

Thank you, dear! But my moods go up and down like a yoyo. Or, to quote that book again, "Life is the Adam's apple of the rapper; it goes up and down very quickly and then it just stops."

Wonder why that's Adam's apple and not Eve's? If we're talking biblical mythology here. Anyway, they're all wrong, it's some type of cartilage I haven't had time to learn the name of yet. And omohyiod bones. :P

Actually, I'm awwight. Talked to Eoin -- er -- you know who, The Boy, today. It went like this:

ME: *to Eli, an American* So you celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving? Aw, you missed out on cookies and stuff this week so.

EOIN: *coming in* Are we talking about Eli's t-shirt? (Which said: "Naming a day after Columbus is like naming a day after Amherst." We asked him what it meant, but truly I don't feel much more enlightened by his explanation. How Eoin saw that last week, when he was half-naked across the room having his apex heart beat felt up, I'm sure I don't know.)

ME: *flails* No. Thanksgiving. Which t-shirt was this?

EOIN: The Columbus day one. I didn't know there was a Columbus day.

ME: Oh, just one of the many things you're deprived of, not being American. *flees*

Felt deep need to just share that.

Fact that I ignored him out of shyness both earlier, and later when we were even WALKING together, is utterly beside point.

Of course.

Oh, his name is Eoin, in case you haven't gathered ... Gawd, hope no one finds this who knows me. :-D

I know what you mean about the yo-yo effect - about a minute ago, I was torn between calling my mom and crying, dropping out of school forever, and not going to see the musical I bought tickets for tonight out of sheer depression and anxiety attacks. I am feeling much better now, thank goodness! Glad you seem to be, too.

Oh, those little moments, and how memorable they are. It's awful, isn't it? Hope this one provides more entertainment than tears. Keep me gratuitously updated!
How does one go about pronouncing "Eoin"? Like the American "Ian"?

Just think, I suppose, that in comparison to eternity nothing really lasts.

Ani Difranco helps. "You are a china shop, and I am a bull." ♥

No -- although I think so too, that's what it looks like, isn't it?! -- it's 'Owen.'

He's beautiful. *sigh* We were doing flag tests yesterday ... he was wearing one of those bobble hats with the flaps (I have one!) and a blue necklace, and a cream t-shirt, and red Converses, and the most amazing clingy jeans with rips and omg I really noticed all that?! *dies*

And stubble. Oh my yes.
Caitcoralia13 on December 2nd, 2005 10:36 am (UTC)
So true, O wise one!

Ani does help. "I search your profile for a translation, I study the conversation like a map. 'Cause I know there is strength in the differences between us, and I know there is comfort where we overlap." Not to mention the great Fiona Apple: "Then the dove of hope began its downward slope and I believed that my chances were approaching to be had, but as it came down near so did a weary tear - I thought it was a bird, but it was just a paper bag." That was my soundtrack for a while last year.

Alright, you need to get at least close enough with this Eoin/Owen guy to get a picture you can send me. The stubble is promising.
